Nanay Lilia, as she is fondly called by her children, have joined with our loving Father at the age of 77, last November 20, 2012 three days before her 77th birthday.
Nanay Lilia was born at San Joaquin, Iloilo on November 23, 1935. She married Tatay Hernando Pelayo. They had three children namely Hernando Pelayo Jr., Joel Pelayo, and Rommel Pelayo.
Nanay Lilia as she was described by her children and nieces is a hard worker, lover and cheerful giver. Nanay Lilia used to vend dried fishes in their place. She uses the money that she gets from vending in buying the things that are needed by her family.
Nanay Lilia is a thrifty ( kuripot ) person. She also loves yellow and green colors. She also loves to plant flowers, vegetables and fruit bearing trees.
Her body lies in state at Pelayo Residence at Barangay Botong, Oton, Iloilo.
Interment will be on November 30, 2012 (Friday) at 1:00 p.m.
